I've Been Charged With a Crime... Now What?

1. Don't talk to the police or anyone from the prosecutor's office without your attorney: Anything you say may be used against you... It's not just something they say on television.

2. Get representation: Do not try to go it alone. You need an attorney - even if it's not us.

3. Tell your lawyer the truth: Your attorney is your advocate. Our private conversations are protected by attorney-client privilege. Before we can defend you, we need to know everything you know.
